Universal names Outstanding Dealers at AEA 2024
Southeast Aerospace, Duncan Aviation, Avmax Aviation Services, Trimec Aviation and Rocky Mountain Aircraft were awarded for service, sales and customer support by Universal Aviation.
Five authorised dealers are recognised for their collaboration and innovation toward helping customers find their ideal avionics solution.

Universal Avionics (UA) presented its Outstanding Dealer Awards at the 67th Annual AEA International Convention and Expo in Dallas, Texas. This award recognises authorised dealers who exemplify exceptional service, sales achievement and a commitment to supporting high-quality customer experiences, and this year's winners are Southeast Aerospace, Duncan Aviation, Avmax Aviation Services, Trimec Aviation and Rocky Mountain Aircraft.

"Universal's authorised dealers are essential to providing the best possible customer experiences for our innovative solutions," says CEO Dror Yahav. "Their expertise and dedication help our customers find the ideal solutions for their aircraft. We're proud of this strong network and look forward to continuing to achieve excellence together."

Southeast Aerospace is a premier aviation company in Melbourne, Florida offering complete aircraft modifications, repair services and parts distribution. Its team of avionics experts achieved certification for the first Hawker 800 modification with Universal's InSight display system and data communications. A second STC is expected in Q2 for the InSight upgrade on Hawker 800XP aircraft originally equipped with Honeywell systems.

Duncan Aviation is the largest privately owned business jet service provider in the world, with three full-service and 29 avionics satellite locations throughout the US. Its previous award wins and many flight deck upgrades highlight its brand promise to deliver high-quality products and services.

Avmax Aviation Services simplifies customer aviation needs with comprehensive maintenance, repair and avionics installation services from its Calgary headquarters in Canada. In 2023, Avmax continued to add aircraft to its Approved Model List (AML) STC for Kapture cockpit voice recorders and achieved success with SBAS FMS upgrades with LPV.

Trimec Aviation is headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, with over three decades of experience serving customers with a commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction. Earlier this year, Trimec completed the InSight upgrade for the Falcon 2000/EX aircraft, including FANS and CPDLC (controller-pilot data link communications), providing customers with nextgen modifications while saving time and enhancing safety.

Calgary, Canada-based Rocky Mountain Aircraft (RMAC) has provided owners and operators of fleets worldwide with tailor-made solutions and comprehensive aviation support for over 40 years. Family-owned and operated, its team consistently delivers superior customer service and support for Universal Avionics product lines. RMAC completed CVR-120R upgrades in DHC-6 Twin Otter fleets based around the world.
