Kansas-based MRO Yingling Aviation has acquired Mid-Continent Aviation Services (MCAS), a full-service MRO also located at Wichita's Dwight D Eisenhower National airport.

Founded in 2010, MCAS provides aircraft MRO, parts, technical assistance and sales support. With the addition of MCAS, Yingling continues to expand its presence in Wichita while gaining access to MCAS' deep expertise, highly-skilled professionals and more than 80,000 square foot facility.

"We are very excited to welcome MCAS to the Yingling family and look forward to working with its seasoned group of world-class technicians," says CEO Bob Rasberry. "By leveraging our collective expertise, we will accelerate our service capabilities and expand operations while continuing to deliver the best-in-class service that our customers expect from us."

MCAS owner Dave VanderGriend adds: "Our adjacent facilities and highly-complementary skills make sense together and will be positive for our customers and people in Wichita."

"By joining forces with Yingling, we are creating a unique business aviation maintenance and service company," says executive director Jill Mitchell. "We have made a significant investment in our team and facilities and look forward to leveraging the power of our combined platform."

"MCAS is a key building block of our strategy to create a unique, independent platform of scale providing best-in-class services to the business aviation market," says Jon Nemo, managing partner at AE Industrial Partners, the majority investor in Yingling. "The addition of MCAS underscores our commitment to continuing to grow the business with deep operating and technical expertise and increasing our footprint in a strategic location."
