QuikTrip Corporation has signed a purchase agreement for its second Bell 429. The company operates a rapidly growing convenience store chain located in 18 US states and plans to use the helicopters to transport executives across its more than 1,400 stores nationwide to attend to business needs, while significantly reducing travel times.

“QuikTrip is excited to add the comfort, reliability and overall performance of another Bell to our fleet, and we are looking forward to our continued strong and long-lasting relationship with the Bell team,” says VP and CFO Stuart Sullivan.

The Bell 429 has spacious cabin seating for six people and plenty of leg room, and operators have access to critical information while in flight due to BasixPro avionics and satellite-based guidance systems on intuitive displays.

“Bell is thrilled that QuikTrip has chosen the Bell 429 platform to add to its existing corporate transport fleet that also includes a Bell 429 and Bell 407GXi. This acquisition will complement and support the company’s growing business needs,” says Lane Evans, managing director, North America. “The Bell 429 continues to be an ideal platform for corporate and VIP transportation around the world due to its versatility, comfort and reliability.”
