VOO, a software platform for booking business aviation flights, has been recognised for its groundbreaking technology, receiving the Technology Innovation of the Year Award at The Aviation Achievement Awards. This prestigious award, presented on February 29 at the V Hotel in Dubai, is the highest honour for excellence in the Middle East's aviation and aerospace industry over the past year.

This recognition signifies the culmination of VOO's dedication to developing groundbreaking solutions. Initially nominated among 14 esteemed categories at The Aviation Achievement Awards, VOO's innovative software subsequently impressed the judges, securing the coveted Technology Innovation of the Year award. Presented to VOO flights CEO, Robert Plhak and VOO's communications manager Ivanna Nikolskaya, the award acknowledges VOO's exceptional contribution as a unique and outstanding technological advancement over the past year.

This annual awards ceremony, designed to recognise excellence in aviation achievements and contributions to the aviation community by honouring businesses that have surpassed the highest standards of accomplishment, has been held since 2013, bringing together leading industry professionals from across the Middle East.

“Winning this prestigious award in such a competitive category is truly humbling. While the initial nomination was a testament to our dedication and hard work, securing this award serves as a powerful motivator for our continued growth and development. We are grateful to our customers, partners and the entire VOO team in Austria for their unwavering support. This award wouldn't be possible without them, and it will undoubtedly fuel our passion for shaping the future of business aviation,” said Robert Plhak, CEO at VOO flights.
