Helistar SAS renews Wyvern Wingman certification
Helistar is recognised by Wyvern's audit team for the high-quality safety and standards of its processes, and maintains its designation as a certified operator.

Colombia-based operator Helistar SAS has once more secured its designation as a Wyvern Wingman certified operator following a successful audit, conducted by Wyvern in November 2023.

"Helistar appreciates this certification and the audit team's recognition of the high safety and quality standards in its processes. It is a source of pride to maintain this certification that strengthens the good will of our company and allows us to be a leader and reference in the aeronautical sector," says general manager Emmanuel Cabra Martinez.

Wyvern Wingman operators are evaluated by the Wingman Standard criteria. The scope of the evaluation includes an assessment of operational activities, review on the company operational history and safety records, safety management system, internal evaluation programme, administrative compositions, technical documentation, pilot and aircraft records, training requirements and maintenance operations including technician training and experience.

"We congratulate Helistar SAS for demonstrating excellence by renewing its Wyvern Wingman certification, which validates its effective safety management system and excellence in managing operations and aircraft maintenance. Wingman operators stand out from their peers by setting the bar for private aviation safety,” says Andrew Day, Wyvern's senior vice president, operations.
