New World Aviation renews Wingman certification
Wyvern Wingman certification is visible proof of New World Aviation's continuous improvement culture, and the company says it helps it improve processes and safety awareness.

New World Aviation has once more secured its designation as a Wyvern Wingman certified operator following a successful audit conducted by Wyvern in November 2023. Based in Allentown, Pennsylvania, NWA is a provider of aircraft management, worldwide charter and maintenance support for a fleet of Gulfstream, Challenger and Learjet aircraft through its FAA 135 and Part 145 certificates. The Wyvern Wingman standard, the first air charter audit standard in the aviation industry, provides a safety benchmark that allows air charter customers to assess performance expectations against recognised industry best operating practices before purchasing air charter services.

"We are grateful for the partnership with Wyvern and see each year as a learning and growing opportunity here at New World Aviation. It helps us improve our processes and safety awareness, which ultimately drives a high-class charter experience that exceeds customer expectations. The Wingman certification is visible proof of New World Aviation's continuous improvement culture," says president and CEO Darrell Frey.

"We congratulate New World Aviation for successful demonstration of its conformance with the Wingman standard, which validates its effective safety management system and excellence in managing operations and aircraft maintenance. Wingman operators stand out from others by demonstrating excellence in all areas of their operation, and by embracing risk management as a core value,” adds Wyvern senior vice president, operations Andrew Day.
