Léman joins GPMS certified installer network
As European operator interest has grown, GPMS looked to partner with a qualified and recognised MRO. Léman Aviation stepped up to bring the benefits of Foresight MX technology to its Alpes operations and customers.

Leman Aviation has joined GPMS International's certified installer network to bring predictive, lightweight health and usage monitoring system (HUMS) Foresight MX to European operators.

GPMS VP of marketing Ronnie Ries says: "Based on the tremendous success we've had bringing Foresight MX to North American and Asia Pacific operators, interest level has spiked from European operators looking to improve their operations and enhance their safety. Our STCs cover numerous platforms and OEMs, but our upcoming certifications for the Airbus H135, H145 and AS332 platforms are key requirements to meeting the demand of the European market. They're excited about our certification progress and are ready to discuss implementation into their fleets."

As interest has grown, GPMS is looking to partner with qualified and recognised MROs to extend the capabilities of GPMS throughout Europe, companies like Leman Aviation.

"Leman Aviation, with its subsidiaries Alpes Maintenance and Alpes Helicopteres, is not only an MRO, but an operator," he continues. "It understands the comprehensive value that Foresight's all-in-one HUMS, FDM and optimised rotor track and balance capabilities bring to a fleet. It makes it a great example of the companies we are looking to partner with to deliver Foresight's capabilities throughout Europe."

Vincent Pollet, co-founder of Leman Aviation, adds: "When we were first introduced to Foresight, we couldn't believe how easy the system was to use and the value it brings. We believe the technology is transformational and are excited to install Foresight on our aircraft next year. We know other operators will be just as impressed when they see it.

"We take pride in flying VIPs to mountain resorts throughout the Alps. It's a large responsibility and one we do not take lightly. They have high expectations for their schedules and expect to get there safely. Now, with Foresight, we will know the health of our helicopter components and ensure a smooth flight experience before we leave the ground. Additionally, we'll be able to monitor our flights to ensure we're providing a comfortable experience, while improving the life of our components as well as the residual value of our aircraft, maximising our asset management strategy."
