The Helicopter Company (THC) has secured ground handling operations support from Saudia Private at all Saudi Arabian airports, providing airport security clearance, marshalling, immigration services, fuelling and catering arrangements as well as private terminals for VIPs. The agreement was signed by Saudia CEO Dr Fahad Aljarboa and captain Arnaud Martinez, CEO of THC, at the Dubai Airshow 2023.

Aljarboa says: "By combining our extensive expertise in delivering world-class FBO and ground services with THC's extensive array of commercial helicopter services, we're able to strengthen the Kingdom's, and the region's, position as leaders in the sector."

“This agreement with Saudia Private enables THC to deliver on our ambitious strategic vision by supporting our operation expansion and provision of services across the Kingdom,” adds Martinez. “THC exists to serve its clients, catering to the many needs associated with its diverse range of services. We look forward to partnering with Saudia Private to deliver more of THC's services to more customers and clients across the Kingdom. This collaboration will further our efforts to support the development of Saudi's aviation sector, in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.”

Saudia Private has joined forces with Jetex in a move that will enable it to expand those ground handling services. Aljarboa explains: "By combining our extensive expertise in delivering world-class FBO and ground services with Jetex's extensive array of commercial ground services, we're able to strengthen the Kingdom's and the region's position as leaders in the sector."

THC has also secured a ground handling partner in Saudi Ground Services Company (SGS) at all Saudi airports. SGS CEO Raed H Al ldrissi says: "This strategic alliance between SGS and THC marks the commencement of an exciting journey towards delivering services that transcend expectations, actively contributing to the realisation of Vision 2030. The collaboration aims to redefine aviation standards by combining our expertise in ground handling services with THC's pioneering approach to aerial mobility."
