Sofia will host latest Jetex VIP lounge
Jetex Sofia is expected to welcome more than 30,000 passengers in 2027, with commercial airline passengers enjoying a seamless experience as if flying private. The move is all part of Jetex's global expansion.
SOF Connect CEO Jesus Caballero and Jetex founder Adel Mardini.

Jetex, a global trip support provider and FBO network, and airport operator SOF Connect, have signed an agreement to develop and operate a VIP lounge at Vasil Levski Sofia airport, the main international airport of Bulgaria and the sixth-largest international airport in Central and Eastern Europe. The airport plays a critical role in supporting economic growth, employment and international connectivity across Bulgaria and the wider region.

Located in the western wing of Terminal 1, Jetex Sofia will feature a private entrance and a collection of elegantly designed lounges, bringing the brand's award-winning hospitality and signature service to the Bulgarian capital.

Building on Jetex's continued global expansion, Jetex Sofia will offer a suite of bespoke services for both private aviation guests and CIP passengers travelling on commercial airlines. Jetex Sofia is expected to welcome more than 30,000 passengers in 2027, with commercial airline passengers enjoying a seamless experience as if flying private.

“Sofia has been evolving into a leading aviation hub in Eastern Europe, with plans to increase capacity from eight to 20 million passengers annually. We are pleased to bring the Jetex brand to this growing market as we continue to expand our global network,” says Adel Mardini, founder and CEO of Jetex.

“Bringing Jetex to Vasil Levski Sofia Airport is another important step in our vision to transform Sofia into a modern, five-star regional hub. This partnership will introduce a new level of premium aviation services to Bulgaria, combining world-class hospitality with seamless passenger experiences,” adds Jesus Caballero, CEO of SOF Connect.

Jetex operates a global network of more than 40 VIP terminals in key global destinations, including Paris, London, Istanbul, Milan, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Marrakech and Singapore. Due to begin ops in Q4 2026, Jetex Sofia will reinforce the company's presence in Eastern Europe.
