MedAire advances security and medical services sustainably
MedAire builds on its medical and security expertise to add custom security advisory and medical concierge offerings, and is the proud recipient of NBAA's sustainable flight department accreditation.

MedAire continues to expand its services to offer custom security advisory and medical concierge services. The tailored security service was developed when protests by environmental activists started to create increased airport security challenges, coupled with rapidly changing political and military activities and the impacts of the global climate change.

CEO Bill Dolny says: “The increase in global threats can make flight planning and risk management overwhelming for many global operators. Our team of experts are prepared to help flight operations of any size navigate the rapidly changing global landscape and minimise the security risks that threaten the safety of passengers, crew and their assets.”

In response to specific customer medical risks when travelling around the world, the MedAire medical concierge services provides a medical professional familiar with a patient's condition to travel with them to support and interact with foreign medical teams if necessary.

Global medical director of aviation health Dr Paulo Alves notes: “It can be very challenging to communicate with medical professionals from another country and in another language. By matching one of our medical professionals with a high-risk patient, it allows them to travel to that important meeting or connect with family far away while having confidence and peace of mind when they have a MedAire expert with them.”

The company has also received the prestigious NBAA Sustainable Flight Department Accreditation on top of its EcoVadis Silver status for 2022.

Dolny says: "These accreditations are a testament to MedAire's commitment to environmental stewardship, social responsibility and financial sustainability. We are honoured to be the first and only aviation solution provider to receive the NBAA accreditation but hope others will join us. This pioneering achievement underscores our vision to partner with the industry to lead sustainable aviation, contributing to the global effort to combat climate change and reduce environmental impact."

MedAire is the first and only aviation solution provider accredited with the NBAA distinction. While it does not operate its flight department, this accreditation is a powerful endorsement of its commitment to ESG, supporting clients' corporate and flight department ESG strategies.
