Boeing is offering a wide range of pre-designed cabin layouts and configurations to expedite installation with the launch of BBJ Select premium interiors. The company is also lowering the total purchase price of the aircraft.

"Boeing Business Jets is offering customers a new, streamlined approach to designing a unique, comfortable and functional interior for our BBJ 737-7 jet," says president Joe Benson. "For customers who may not have the time or desire to create a fully bespoke interior, BBJ Select offers pre-designed options to outfit their cabin, which allows us to offer the jet at a very attractive, fixed price."

From guest rooms and private offices to family rooms and VIP passenger seating configurations, customers select modules for each section of the aircraft. In all, BBJ Select offers 144 unique modular cabin combinations in three different colour palettes, covering the spectrum of personal, business and head of state requirements.

Designed in collaboration with US completion centres Aloft AeroArchitects and Greenpoint Technologies, BBJ Select layouts eliminate costs for one-time engineering and related work for the installation of a clean sheet cabin design. To simplify the purchase experience, customers sign one contract with Boeing and the company oversees the design, build and delivery of the fully outfitted VIP aircraft. Greenpoint will deliver its turnkey cabin kits to Aloft, which will leverage its BBJ integration experience and in-house FAA ODA to install, certify and deliver the completed interiors. Both companies will share key responsibilities including client acceptance and post-delivery care.

“Collaboration is in our DNA at Aloft. We've been a proud partner to Boeing on the auxiliary fuel system since inception of the programme as well as being one of the top providers of VIP interior completions of BBJ 737 aircraft,” says Matt Hill, vice president of sales and service. “We're honoured to expand the BBJ relationship with the award of the BBJ Select project. What makes it even more rewarding is our teaming with Greenpoint to provide an unrivalled level of quality, capability and support that results in uncompromising excellence and value for every new BBJ Select customer.”

“BBJ Select marks a significant milestone in luxury aviation and underscores our commitment to delivering excellence in VIP aircraft interiors,” adds Bret Neely, Greenpoint vice president of sales and design. “Drawing from our extensive experience completing BBJ aircraft and inspired by our client's needs, the BBJ, Aloft and Greenpoint team developed an interior offering with outstanding personal space, comfort and connectivity, with an accelerated completion schedule and exceptional value. We eagerly anticipate the profound impact of the BBJ Select.”

BBJ Select cabins are exclusively available for the BBJ 737-7, the newest member of the BBJ 737 MAX family. With an unmatched combination of globe-spanning range, superior cabin space and best-in-class operating economics, the BBJ 737-7 can fly passengers over 15 hours non-stop while reducing fuel use and emissions compared to previous generation business jets. Built for daily flights, BBJs provide far higher reliability and retain more residual value compared to competitors.
