Brunei Shell adds Milestone S-92 for offshore missions
The S-92 is considered by Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Sendirian Berhad to be the workhorse of the offshore oil and gas industry, and this is set to continue thanks to its capabilities and proven reliability.
The S-92 is configured for passenger transport and is intended for offshore oil and gas missions in Brunei.

Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Sendirian Berhad has taken delivery of a Sikorsky S-92 helicopter from Milestone Aviation Group. The S-92 is configured for passenger transport and is intended for offshore oil and gas missions in Brunei.

“We are very pleased to work with Brunei Shell Petroleum on this sale transaction. The S-92 is the workhorse of the offshore oil and gas industry and will continue to be for many years thanks to its advanced capabilities and proven reliability,” says Michael York, the head of emerging markets for Milestone Aviation. “The sale of this aircraft is also testament to the strong liquidity in the helicopter market. We are grateful to BSP for the trust that it has placed in Milestone, and we thank it for its business.”

John Cameron, the head of aviation, Brunei Shell Petroleum adds: “The purchase of the additional S-92 and optimisation of our aviation fleet allows the BSP aviation department to continue providing safe and efficient air transport services. The S-92 has been a cornerstone of our air transport services since 2007 and we look forward to continued operations with the aircraft for several years.”
