Brazil-based offshore operator Lider Aviacao has signed a lease agreement with Milestone Aviation Group for a Sikorsky S-92 helicopter.

The S-92 is configured for offshore passenger transport and will support Líder's operations for Brazil's national oil company, Petrobras. The aircraft is scheduled to be delivered in the coming months and will be deployed on long-range missions to 'pre-salt' oil regions across Brazil. This is the second aircraft to go on lease to Líder from Milestone; it currently operates a Leonardo AW139.

"Líder is proud to have been the pioneer of S-92 operations in Brazil, having first introduced the aircraft more than 15 years ago," says CEO Junia Hermont. "In 2024, we will expand our fleet by six aircraft through operating leases, one of which will be the S-92 from Milestone.
