Safety is paramount to Luxaviation's operation and the renewal of our Wyvern Wingman certification is testament to our safety management culture. ExecuJet Australia is the latest to meet the standard.

ExecuJet Australia, part of the Luxaviation Group, has once more secured its designation as a Wyvern Wingman certified operator following a successful audit conducted by Wyvern in April 2023.

The Wyvern Wingman standard, the first air charter audit standard in the aviation industry, provides a safety benchmark that allows air charter customers to assess performance expectations against recognised industry best operating practices before purchasing air charter services.

Darren McGoldrick, vice president, APAC, Luxaviation Group, says: “Safety is paramount to Luxaviation's operation and the renewal of our Wyvern Wingman certification is testament to our safety management culture. We continue to stay updated on the latest aviation safety information and commit to meeting our clients' needs and expectations at the very highest industry standards.”

Wyvern Wingman operators are evaluated by the Wingman Standard criteria. The scope of the evaluation includes an assessment of operational activities, review on the company operational history and safety records, safety management system (SMS), internal evaluation programme, administrative compositions, technical documentation, pilot and aircraft records, training requirements and maintenance operations including technician training and experience.

“We commend ExecuJet Australia for successfully renewing its Wingman certification, which not only validates its safety management system for international compliance, but also verifies its conformance to the highest global standards and industry professional codes of practice in operations and aircraft maintenance,” concludes Sonnie Bates, Wyvern CEO.
