Simply Jet kicks off Zurich sales division
According to Yann Jaccard, CEO and co-founder of Simply Jet, the company's growth trajectory is a direct result of its commitment to customer service and its focus on creating a positive company culture.
The launch of the aircraft sales and acquisition division marks another strategic step for Simply Jet.

Simply Jet, a fast-growing private jet charter brokerage headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, is expanding its business by opening a new office in Zurich and launching an aircraft sales and acquisition division.

Despite navigating a volatile market, affected by various factors such as economic uncertainties, shifting travel patterns and a challenging six per cent market contraction in 2023 compared to 2022, Simply Jet has maintained remarkable growth. As a result, the company's revenue has more than doubled from CHF 16 million in 2021 to an estimated CHF 32 million in 2023, along with a significant increase in the number of flights organised from 1,000 in 2021 to 2,000, expected by the end of 2023. This impressive achievement can be attributed to the company's dedicated team, employee-focused culture and steadfast dedication to providing bespoke client support.

According to Yann Jaccard, CEO and co-founder of Simply Jet, the company's growth trajectory is a direct result of its commitment to customer service and its focus on creating a company culture that places employees at the heart of its vision. “Our team is the cornerstone of Simply Jet's success. We remain resolute in fostering an environment that values and motivates our employees to provide the highest level of service.”

Simply Jet's presence spans across Europe, with established offices in Lausanne, London and Paris. The addition of the new Zurich office further strengthens Simply Jet's foothold in the region. This move not only enhances the company's ability to cater to its German-speaking clientele, but also provides an opportunity to broaden its talent pool. “Opening an office in Zurich is a strategic move that allows us to be closer to our clients and provides us with an opportunity to leverage local talent and reinforces our position as the largest private jet brokerage in the region,” adds Jaccard.

The launch of the aircraft sales and acquisition division marks another strategic step for Simply Jet. “This initiative is intended to capitalise on our extensive client portfolio,” Jaccard goes on. In addition, Simply Jet's large client database enables the company to assist aircraft owners in renting out their planes when not flying them, generating extra income and helping offset the cost of ownership.

Yann Jaccard explains that the aircraft sales and acquisition division is a natural progression for the company. “Our extensive experience in the private jet industry has given us an in-depth understanding of our client's needs. We recognise that some of our clients may want to own their aircraft, and we want to be there to support them in their journey. Our aircraft sales and acquisition division allows us to provide our clients with a full range of services, from aircraft acquisition to chartering options.”
