OK base gives McAlester improved emergency access
McAlester Regional Air Care has opened new operations in Eufaula, Oklahoma where it will station a second Bell 407 air ambulance.
McAlester Regional Air Care I and II are the health centre's critical care Bell 407 air ambulances.

McAlester Regional Air Care has opened a new base in Eufaula, Oklahoma, a complement to its existing operation at the nearby McAlester Regional Health Center. The health centre base has been in operation since 2015 and is home to a Bell 407 rotor wing air ambulance. A second Bell 407 will be added to the program in Eufaula. Both air ambulances, McAlester Regional Air Care I and II, will work together to provide critical healthcare access to rural Oklahoma.

“Rural Oklahomans deserve critical care access at a moment's notice,” says Korey Langston, programme director for McAlester Regional Air Care's operation in Eufaula. “The addition of this air ambulance will provide quicker response times to the communities we serve. In addition, we are excited for the opportunity to expand our service area.”

Owned and operated by Med-Trans Corporation, McAlester Regional Air Care is the premier provider of choice in Pittsburg County, McIntosh County and the surrounding area.
