Helicopter Dealer Rotortrade has made a series of appointments and promotions in support of its continued growth in North America.

Robert Brant has been appointed as the head of region for North America. With more than 30 years of experience in aviation, Brant is a well-known leader in the industry known for his successful reorganisations, business expansion and market development. Prior to joining Rotortrade he served as the vice president of commercial business for Leonardo Helicopters and held positions at Eurocopter (Airbus Helicopters) and Bombardier. Brant started his career as a pilot and operations officer for the US Marine Corps with 15 years of helicopter flying experience.

“Robert is a seasoned executive with extensive experience across the spectrum of the industry and in many capacities. His experience of sales and operations across manufacturers and business segments combined with his strong values as a former US Marine Corps are perfectly aligned with what Rotortrade stands for. I am very proud to welcome him in our team, supporting our customers with integrity and commitment as part of our global leadership team and spearheading our North American efforts,” says executive vice president global sales Aurelien Blanc.

Floyd Ingram has joined as operations director for North and Latin America. With over 27 years of piloting, maintenance and extensive and diverse operational experience, Ingram brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team. He began his career in the US Army and has a total flight time of almost 9,000 hours. He is an FAA qualified pilot, certified flight instructor, mechanic and IA.

Alejandro Bustos has relocated to Canada and been promoted to sales director for Canada, Mexico and Central America. Bustos has been with Rotortrade for five years achieving great results in developing the Latin American market. Fluent in English, Spanish and French, he will be further developing the Rotortrade organisation and sales in these territories. Previously he worked for Airbus for 15 years as regional sales manager for Mexico.

"These appointments and promotions demonstrate Rotortrade's commitment to recruiting top talent to support our customers with helicopters they can trust, and to delivering sustained outcomes for their businesses and for the pre-owned helicopter market,” says CEO Philippe Lubrano. "Our strong team, regional strategy and new facilities, including a hangar for aircraft maintenance and storage, ensure optimum agility, which has been one of the cornerstones of the success of the company since inception.”
