Leonardos and Bells join Caverton and Global
Global Aviation Training and Maintenance is a partner company of Caverton Helicopters, a leading provider of marine and aviation logistics services in the oil and gas industry. Five new aircraft will join the fleet.
Rotortrade sales managers for southeast Asia Alessandro Locatelli and for central and eastern Europe Haris Dzanan, Caverton Offshore Support Group COO Rotimi Makanjuola, Rotortrade EVP global sales Aurélien Blanc with Caverton Offshore Support Group CEO Capt Ibrahim Bello and head of maintenance Ravi Kumar.

Nigeria-based Caverton Helicopters and Global Aviation Training and Maintenance have acquired two Bell 407s and three AW109 Trekkers respectively. The aircraft were transacted by Leonardo distributor Rotortrade.

Global Aviation Training and Maintenance is a partner company of Caverton Helicopters, a leading provider of marine and aviation logistics services in the oil and gas industry in Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa.

“We are excited to add these helicopters to our fleet,” says Global Aviation CEO Rotimi Makanjuola. “We chose the AW109 Trekker because it is the ideal platform for training on light twin engine helicopters that will help bring up the next generations of helicopter pilots in Nigeria.”

Rotortrade's EVP global sales Aurélien Blanc adds: “We are delighted to have worked on these transactions, expanding RT's owned inventory with two Bell 407 helicopters form Caverton.
