Ginger Aviation not shy about Bell 407GXi purchase
There are more than 1,500 Bell 407s operating around the world in six continents, surpassing six million total fleet flight hours. The type is now on its way to Taiwan, where it will be operated by utility outfit Ginger.
Representatives from Ginger Aviation and Bell welcome the B407GXi.

Taiwanese operator Ginger Aviation has signed a purchase agreement for the first Bell 407GXi helicopter in the country.

Founded by Taiwanese conglomerates in the utilities and aviation industry in 2022, Ginger Aviation plans to use its Bell 407GXi to address a growing demand for helicopter power line wash and inspections in country.

“We are honoured that Ginger Aviation has selected the Bell 407GXi as the first helicopter in its fleet,” says Jacinto Monge, Bell's Asia Pacific MD. “Given the Bell 407's strong track record in the utility segment globally, we are confident Ginger Aviation's Bell 407GXi is the right aircraft for power-line wash and management. We look forward to working with Ginger Aviation to support the aircraft's entry into the fleet when it is delivered later this year.”

There are more than 1,500 Bell 407s operating around the world in six continents, surpassing six million total fleet flight hours. The aircraft sets a high standard for single-engine aircraft with its unmatched reliability and performance.

The Bell 407GXi is outfitted with the new Rolls-Royce M250-C47E/4 turbine engine equipped with two dual-channel FADEC turbine, delivering exceptional hot and high performance, fuel efficiency and the ability to cruise at 133 kts. Garmin's G1000H NXi integrated flight deck, complete with high-resolution displays and faster processors, offers increased brightness and clarity, faster startup and map rendering, as well as connectivity to tablets and smartphones.
