Crowder to manage Statesville hub for Jet East
David Crowder brings knowledge and expertise to his new role as GM of Statesville Regional for Jet East, having held various leadership positions throughout his career. He is a skilled communicator and team builder.
David Crowder is an industry veteran of more than 30 years.

Jet East, a Gama Aviation company offering full-service capabilities and 24/7 mobile maintenance throughout the USA, has appointed David Crowder as GM of its Statesville Regional airport facility in North Carolina. Crowder joins Jet East as its first SVH employee and will lead the newly established location. The facility is positioned to offer full-service capabilities for aircraft owners and operators, and he brings the necessary experience in leadership to guide the location and the estimated 250 new employees who will be hired.

Starting his aviation career in January of 1988 with American Eagle as an aviation maintenance technician, Crowder steadily made a name for himself in the industry. Eventually, he found himself as the general manager for Stevens Aviation, a role he held for eight years before being hired by Jet East.

Crowder brings knowledge and expertise to the role, having held various leadership positions throughout his career. He is a skilled communicator and team builder, which are qualities that will foster a family-centred approach for the individuals who join the team. He will be a valuable asset in driving the success of the facility, which includes two expansive hangars with ample office space, totalling 115,000 sq ft.

President and CEO Stephen Maiden comments: “We are very fortunate to have someone like David join our team. With his experience and effective leadership skills, I am confident that the SVH facility will thrive. David has a proven track record of success and will be able to achieve the desired results based on the goals we have established.”
