LEO brings Eagle in for Coupe development
Eagle Technologies is to provide its design, prototyping, testing and production services for the all-electric flying car.
Bringing the Jetsons-era vision to the masses will require an advanced understanding of engineering and design techniques, says LEO Flight.

Electric jet flying car developer LEO Flight Corporation has formed a strategic alliance with Newport News, Virginia-based aerospace manufacturer Eagle Technologies. It claims this is a major step forward in the development of flying cars in the truest sense: compact, high performance and with no exposed propellers.

"This partnership will have far-reaching implications for the way people move around in the world," says LEO co-founder Carlos Salaff. “Eagle Technologies' expertise in aerospace engineering, prototyping and manufacturing will play a key role in bringing the LEO Coupe to market.”

The LEO Coupe is a fully-electric VTOL flying car designed for personal ownership.

Eagle Technologies provides design, prototyping, testing and production services for both fixed wing and rotorcraft applications. Since 2001, the company has worked in the development of eVTOL and conventional aircraft systems, serving the complete spectrum of OEMs, US government and small private organisations.

“We are proud to be partnering with LEO Flight Corporation on this exciting project," says president and CEO Bruce Bailey. “We are confident that our partnership will have a lasting impact on the future of flight."
