Pacific Coast Jet renews Wingman certification
Pacific Coast Jet is pleased to retain its Wingman designation and welcomes the regular evaluations that, it says, elevate and refine its practices.
A PCJ Citation X.

California-based charter, management and sales provider PCJ Aviation, dba Pacific Coast Jet, has once more secured its designation as a Wyvern Wingman certified operator by maintaining Wingman status through the Flight Leader Program with quarterly coaching by Wyvern. The Wyvern Wingman standard, the first air charter audit standard in the aviation industry, provides a safety benchmark that allows air charter customers to assess performance expectations against recognised industry best operating practices before purchasing air charter services.

Pacific Coast Jet is pleased that our dedication to safety and top industry measures have resulted in assurance of the Wyvern Wingman standards. It is incumbent upon our organisation to undergo regular evaluations that offer the opportunity to view the operation through a scrutinous lens and identify ways that we can elevate and refine our practices as the company continues to mature,” says director of operations Corry Lane.

Wyvern Wingman operators are evaluated by the Wingman Standard criteria. The scope of the evaluation includes an assessment of operational activities, review on the company operational history and safety records, safety management system (SMS), internal evaluation programme, administrative compositions, technical documentation, pilot and aircraft records, training requirements and maintenance operations including technician training and experience.

“We congratulate Pacific Coast Jet for renewing its Wingman certification, which validates its effective safety management system and excellence in managing operations and aircraft maintenance. Wingman operators stand out among their peers by allowing Wyvern to assess their conformity to best practices and continually monitor their information related to safety,” says Wyvern CEO Sonnie Bates.
