Textron Aviation plans to open a new satellite service centre by the end of 2022 in response to customer demand in the high-traffic Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area in Texas. The Dallas Love Field location will offer additional flexibility to local and transit customers who operate Cessna, Beechcraft and Hawker jets and turboprops, as well as complement the company's unscheduled aircraft on ground (AOG) response.

Beechcraft, Cessna and Hawker customers receive factory-direct support, maintenance and modifications by Textron through a global network of service and part centres, mobile service units and 24/7 1CALL AOG support.

“Dallas is an expanding market for locally based customers flying Textron Aviation aircraft, in addition to a large volume of transit customers doing business in the area,” says senior vice president, customer support Brian Rohloff. “These customers now have access to local factory-direct, expert service and support at our new satellite service centre.”

The Dallas satellite service centre can accommodate unscheduled maintenance and AOG situations as an extension of the OEM's Texan factory-direct service centres in Houston and San Antonio, and serves as the operations hub for nine mobile service units, in addition to others positioned throughout the state. The new 12,000 sq ft facility will have more than 20 technicians to support customers onsite.
