flyExclusive has formally opened Hangar 4, the newest facility at its headquarters in Kinston, North Carolina. It will house the growing MRO division, enabling the company to perform avionics installations and upgrades, maintenance, paint and interior work. The space also includes designated renovation and refurbishment suites.

The grand opening of the 48,000 sq ft facility is a testament to the company's commitment to eastern North Carolina and the creation of strong, local jobs and the economic vitality it sees in the Tarheel state. flyExclusive currently employs more than 750 individuals, and with the opening of Hangar 4 plans to bring on more than 200 additional employees that will support the 24/7 MRO business operation.

Founder and CEO Jim Segrave says: “This is about more than just a new building; this facility embodies flyExclusive's promise to our customers, employees and community that our services are first-in-class. From right here in Kinston, North Carolina to everywhere our jets travel, flyExclusive is committed to our mission to be the best in private aviation.”

President and chief operating officer Tommy Sowers adds: “Our MRO division is a vital pillar of our business, and we're thrilled to unveil this latest investment. Hangar 4's opening is a major step forward as flyExclusive continues to take private aviation to the next level by prioritising innovation and the overall customer experience.”

This is the latest in a series of expansion moves made by flyExclusive including the recent onboarding of more than 100 new pilots who have joined the rapidly growing flight crew roster, in addition to the hiring of chief financial officer Brent Smith, former CFO of NetJets.
