Software launch precedes Flight Pro's second anniversary
The company may be a new name in the private aviation services industry, but that didn't stop it launching Flight Pro Connect less than two years after starting up.
Owner and founder Tom Balousek.

Between them the Houston, Texas-based trip support solutions company Flight Pro International (FPI) team has more than three decades of expertise in concierge trip management services. In 2020, a year when most businesses were operationally challenged, the pandemic didn't stop founder Tom Balousek from advancing his longstanding vision for one stop shop VIP services. A lifetime entrepreneur in the industry, he says the business more closely resembled an entrepreneurial family reunion on launch than a green start up. He recognised that his original idea would fill a new-found marketplace void, just as he did in 1978 when he and partners began Air Routing, growing it to become a comprehensive and versatile group of trip management professionals with an array of pre-trip, during-trip and post-trip services.

A decade and many organisational changes later, Balousek founded FPI. In April this year it achieved the debut of its Flight Pro Connect trip management software (FPC), before its second birthday.

The FPC format streamlines trip management from start to finish, either as engagement between FPI ops and clients or as a solo tool for FPI clients at their convenience. Features include controlled access, weather, headlines, alerts, schedules, crew/passenger/aircraft document management and 24/7 FPI communications.

“Our goal is to provide an elegant yet simplified client experience that delivers peace of mind, ROI and return on experience. These are critical benefits at today's accelerated pace, whether you are looking for professional trip management, flight planning or hotel and concierge accommodations, no matter where your travels take you in the world,” says Balousek.
