Formula 1 sets jets racing at Milano Prime
Milano Prime has confirmed its position as a gateway to international sporting events in Milan. It saw more movements than ever before at the recent Grand Prix, and has high hopes for the forthcoming Nations League.
SEA Prime managed over 700 business aviation movements at Linate and Malpensa Prime during the Italian Formula 1 Grand Prix.

SEA Prime, a SEA Group company and manager of the business and general aviation infrastructure at Milan's Linate and Malpensa airports under the brand Milano Prime, managed over 700 business aviation movements at Linate and Malpensa Prime during the Italian Formula 1 Grand Prix in September. More than 100 aircraft stopping overnight between the Saturday and Sunday.

The reported increase in the number of spectators present on the circuit over the weekend, more than 336,000 compared to the 200,000 of the record edition of 2018, was accompanied by an increase in movements managed by SEA Prime of 54 per cent compared to 2019; 75 per cent of this managed air traffic was international.

Linate Prime hosted the helicopter shuttle operated by Elilombarda with 122 movements from and to the circuit, a service much appreciated by passengers wishing to reach the racing circuit easily. Linate airport also managed the take off of the aircraft of the Presidency of the Republic of Italy as well as the acrobatic patrol for the spectacular display that took place before the start of the Grand Prix.
