Salem, New Hampshire-based aviation brokerage Air Planning has hired Lora McSherry to serve as the company's general counsel and a member of its senior leadership team. McSherry brings many years of experience in business and contract law. She is also a subject matter expert in employment law and human resources.

"Lora's experience is critical to our future growth plans. With the increase in the number and complexity of contracts, having an attorney on the staff is a significant competitive advantage. We are benefiting immediately from all of Lora's areas of expertise," says CEO Scott Bickford.

Vice president of sales and business development Aaron Yust adds: "Lora brings years of business experience and acumen to our senior leadership team, and I'm excited to have the opportunity to work with her."

“I’m thrilled to join the team at Air Planning and bring my experience to collaborate with everyone to achieve the company’s plans for future growth,” says McSherry.

The company has successfully enrolled in the Wyvern Broker Membership programme. Wyvern Brokers have access to its Aviation Compliance Enhancement System (ACES) data platform. Air Planning is now eligible to provide clients with a Pilot & Aircraft Safety Survey (PASS) report, which verifies that the operator, aircraft and crew meet the global benchmark in safety, the Wingman Standard. ACES also enables Wyvern brokers to establish custom safety analysis reports to meet their needs.

Wyvern reviews thousands of accurate real-time data points both manually and within the system every day, including training documents, crew currency, insurance levels and maintenance training.
