Takacs takes on First Aviation development
Robert Takacs is a powerful addition to the First Aviation Services team as it continues to grow the rotorcraft segment. His experience and relationships with operators will be a great asset.

Piedmont Propulsion Systems, Aviation Blade Services and HeliBlade International, all subsidiaries of First Aviation Services, have jointly appointed Robert Takacs as director of business development for both rotary and fixed wing operations.

Takacs brings a wealth of experience and contacts in the regional airline marketplace from his time at Voyageur Aviation and Av-Reps. His solid experience developing customer relationships and understanding the needs of turboprop operators is an excellent fit with First Aviation Services' industry leading engineering, quality and technical capabilities.

The appointment will compliment First Aviation's continued investment in the rotorcraft marketplace with its recent HeliBlade acquisition. Takacs will co-ordinate First Aviation Services' growth strategy in the rotorcraft marketplace for its three FAA Part 145 repair stations dedicated to helicopter rotor blades.

COO Paul Bolton says: “Robert is a powerful addition to the team as we continue to grow these segments. His experience and relationships with operators will be a great asset.”

Takacs adds: “The opportunity to be part of the First Aviation team, with their strong brands and extensive product lines in both turboprops and helicopters, is very exciting.”
