Universal adds two Dominican Republic locations
Traffic volumes in the Dominican Republic are projected to continue on their upward trend. Universal's latest locations at Las Américas and Cibao, the second and third busiest airports, allow it to keep up with demand.

Universal Aviation, the ground support division of Universal Weather and Aviation, has added two more Dominican Republic locations at Las Américas in Santo Domingo and Cibao International airport in Santiago. These two locations join the network's current offices in Puerto Plata, Samaná, Santo Domingo-La Isabela, La Romana and Punta Cana, giving the network seven locations in the Dominican Republic and 27 total in Latin America and the Caribbean.

“The Dominican Republic continues to see record traffic and has become one of the most popular leisure destinations in the world for business aviation,” says Universal Aviation Dominican Republic director Danilo Rosario Jiménez. “Las Américas and Cibao are the country's second and third busiest airports respectively, and traffic volumes are projected to continue on the upward trend that started before the pandemic. We are committed to continuing to expand across the entire country to keep up with the demand and ensure our customers have access to the highest levels of support on the ground at all destinations across the Dominican Republic.”
