Scott Lawson takes up gm role at Henderson
From A&P to overseeing a component repair station, Scott Lawson is a professional who knows how to get things done. As general manager of HJS that skill will serve him well.

Texas-based Henderson Jet Services (HJS), a certified supplier of Bombardier business jet aftermarket components, complex systems and engines has promoted Scott Lawson to general manager. His overall responsibilities will include oversight of HJS's strategic alliance management, revenue growth, brand development, technical platforms, aftermarket parts sourcing and delivery logistics.

“Having known Scott for over 20 years, I have had the unique opportunity to see his transformation and professional growth in the aviation industry first hand," says executive VP Rick Armstrong. "Starting out as a talented A&P to overseeing a highly reputable component repair station, he is now a key player at HJS. Thanks to our customers we are moving beyond the current structure we have now. I trust Scott with our business.”

Lawson is an aviation veteran of more than 20 years in commercial, corporate and general aviation aerospace. He has career experience in A&P repair, mechanical, component and flight systems. Prior to joining HJS in 2019, he held leadership and management roles for companies including Airborne Express and Evans Composites. Lawson holds a private aircraft pilots' licence, a an undergraduate degree from Embry Riddle and holds an MBA and master's degree in entrepreneurship from Keller Graduate School.

“Scott recently brokered a number of inventory acquisitions that will have a dramatic effect on the way we can serve our clients,” adds CEO Darla Henderson. “He is a professional who knows how to get things done, and we are proud of his advancement and leadership in our company, now and in the future.”
