The ACA NextGen group is keen to promote air charter industry awareness over 2022. The appointment of a deputy chair and five new members should help the team to achieve its goals.

The Air Charter Association (The ACA) has appointed Volanteus director Alina Minaeva as deputy chair of its Next Generation (NextGen) group, to assist chair Patrick Lucy in leading the group and promoting greater awareness of the air charter industry to its target audience.

Minaeva says: “I am delighted to be appointed as deputy chair of the NextGen group and am excited to support Patrick in leading the initiatives we have planned for the year ahead.”

The ACA NextGen group was formed in October 2020 to showcase and support the industry's many varied, rewarding and challenging career opportunities; to support the development of the association's work on sustainability and innovation; and to develop wider membership engagement.

To further support the development of the group and implementation of its initiatives, five additional members have been added this year: George Romeril of Isle-Fly, Jordan Penning from Air Charter Service, Nicola-Jane Sellers of Luxaviation Group, Samantha Whitfield from Flight Consulting Group and Scott Butcher of Starflight Aviation.

NextGen chair Lucy says: “The appointment of the new members to the group is a great step forward and will enable us to widen our reach and provide valuable additional resources. This will help us to deliver on key projects such as in-person presentations at universities and colleges, support the association's work on sustainability and innovation, and work with charity fly2help with its Aim High programme.”
