California-based full-service business aviation company Desert Jet held an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony in celebration of its newly built executive FBO facility Desert Jet Center, located at Jacqueline Cochran Regional airport.

The 32,500 sq ft aviation facility features a well-appointed lobby, and offers aircraft fuelling and ground services, hangar storage and aircraft detailing. Specialised concierge services such as ground transportation and aircraft inflight catering are available. The centre also serves as the headquarters for Desert Jet's private jet charter, aircraft management and Part 145 aircraft maintenance activities.

The ceremony took place on the ramp and was officiated by Riverside County Fourth District supervisor V Manual Perez and Desert Jet owner Jim McCool. Music students from the College of the Desert provided the entertainment playing jazz classics.

The company is to be the official private jet company sponsor for the 2022 Agua Caliente Casinos Polo & Balloon Classic event in March. The event brings together high end fashion, luxury automobiles, private jets, polo and hot air balloons, and Desert Jet will host the Meet the Polo Players cocktail party at the new FBO facility.
