Daytona Beach to host ACSF 2022 Safety Symposium
The ACSF Safety Symposium is back for 2022. After the Covid-related cancellations of the past two years, the foundation is pleased to be able to once again hold this aviation safety-focused event in person.

The Air Charter Safety Foundation's Safety Symposium will be held on 5-6 April, 2022 in Daytona Beach, Florida, on the campus of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU). The Symposium has been held annually for 13 years until 2020, when it was suspended in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

ACSF president Bryan Burns says: “The past few years have been extremely difficult for industry associations of any kind to host 'live' events. However, we are thrilled to announce our partnership with ERAU to once again provide an in-person venue for the symposium. We have an outstanding line up of topics, presenters and academia that attendees won't want to miss, and the ERAU campus is the perfect location to meet and network with our colleagues.”

In past years, the symposium has been held at the National Transportation Safety Board's training centre in Ashburn, Virginia and has been described by many aviation industry attendees as one of the most important of its kind. One aviation company executive said of it: “It's an outstanding, 'pure' safety event that's put together by safety-minded professionals for safety-minded professionals. There are always outstanding speakers who bring about new ways to tackle age old safety issues. It's simply one of the best safety events on record.”
