FBO Riga in Latvia has confirmed IS-BAH Stage II accreditation after successfully passing an audit by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC). This reaffirms FBO Riga's commitment to highest standards of safety and quality of services for its passengers and aircraft handling.

IS-BAH is the global industry standard for business aviation ground handlers developed by IBAC in cooperation with NATA. It is a set of industry best practices that features at its core a safety management system. IS-BAH meets ICAO requirements and global practices, including the safety management system (SMS) requirements.

FBO Riga co-owner Roman Starkov is pleased with the results of the audit: “To confirm compliance with IS-BAH Stage II requirements, we again passed an audit of our management systems, security procedures, organisational structure, training protocols and operational processes. This is a detailed audit that takes several months. Our team demonstrates the first-class quality of service and compliance with the highest safety requirements in business aviation every day, on each flight, and this has been confirmed by the IBAC audit.”

"The international recognition of FBO Riga's professionalism, confirmed by the IS-BAH Stage II certificate, is very important for our clients," adds co-owner Leonid Gorodnitski. "This is a guarantee of safety of their travels and proof of the highest quality of passenger and aircraft handling in FBO Riga."

As of December 2021, nearly 200 organisations around the world have received IS-BAH certificates, including 61 located in Europe. FBO Riga remains the only holder of an IS-BAH certificate in the Baltic states.
