Biggin Hill introduces same day PCR tests
In accordance with UK government guidelines, London Biggin Hill airport is offering dedicated on arrival, PCR testing. Tests taken before 5pm are guaranteed a result the same day.
The airport has been quick to respond to the new travel requirements.

London Biggin Hill airport in the UK is offering dedicated on arrival, same day rapid result PCR tests to all passengers and aircrew in response to the government's latest Coronavirus travel announcement.

All arrivals into the UK are required to self isolate until receiving a negative PCR test result, regardless of vaccination status or country of origin. London Biggin Hill customer services will present the pre-booked PCR test kit to passengers on board the aircraft. On completion of the test, the kit will be dispatched for rapid processing with results available in as little as three hours.

“The airport has been quick to respond to the new travel requirements to ensure our passengers and crew can keep moving, says head of marketing Andy Patsalides. "By providing on arrival, same day PCR tests, we are helping our customers take full advantage of our contactless travel service while maintaining our high safety standards.”

All tests must be pre-booked online.
