Cutter Aviation promotes Phoenix pair
The latest Cutter Aviation appointments see Kevin Reedy become director of safety and Chadd Garvy promoted to chief pilot.
Chief pilot Chadd Garvy.

Cutter Aviation has made two internal appointments at its Phoenix, Arizona facility. Kevin Reedy becomes director of safety, responsible for the development implementation and oversight of the safety management system for all Cutter locations, while Chadd Garvy is promoted to chief pilot for the company’s charter and flight management department.

Reedy has more than 30 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, quality assurance, maintenance management and customer service within the aeronautical industry, and will maintain and oversee all Cutter’s safety policies. He came to the company in November 2011 as an aircraft maintenance supervisor, was promoted to maintenance manager in 2015 and then went on to become the chief inspector/accountable manager in 2017.

Garvy will be responsible for leading and training a team of pilots while growing Cutter's charter flight operations and aircraft management services for its domestic and international client base. He began his aviation career in Tampa, Florida where he completed his primary flight training. He progressed from private pilot to a certified flight instructor in 13 months with zero failed check rides. Shortly thereafter he moved to Phoenix to begin a flight instruction career where, in a school with more than 350 students, he moved up the ranks and became a senior instructor and check airman within 18 months. He joined Cutter Aviation charter department in February 2019 and quickly became known as the Pilatus PC-12 expert; he now flies both the PC-24 and PC-12.
