Ansat will provide more medical support to Kostroma
The Ansat helicopter is equipped with a medical interior that enables the monitoring of a patient's condition and the provision of specialised medical care.
The first Ansat was delivered to the Kostroma region at the end of 2017.

Kostroma Aviation Enterprise will operate an additional Ansat helicopter as a medical support aircraft, provided through the State Transport Leasing Company.

The helicopter is equipped with a medical interior that enables the monitoring of a patient's condition and the provision of specialised medical care.

The first Ansat was delivered to the Kostroma region at the end of 2017, also under contract between Russian Helicopters and State Transport Leasing. According to the regional health department, 122 patients were delivered to hospitals by an Ansat helicopter.

"Within the framework of the current contract with State Transport Leasing Company, two Ansat helicopters have already been delivered this year, and the acceptance of the third aircraft is expected. I would like to note that one of the tasks for Kazan Helicopters is to increase the supply of Ansats, which will also be facilitated by the modernisation of the aircraft to the Ansat-M version," says the managing director of the Kazan Helicopter Plant Alexey Belykh.

The Ansat-M has increased flight range to 790 km with an additional fuel tank. Planned work on the installation of new rotor and tail rotor blades with improved aerodynamics will improve the flight characteristics, increase takeoff weight to 3,800 kg and reduce noise levels in the cabin and on the ground.
