Jet East hires Chandler as director of business development
Dwayne Chandler began his career in the Marine Corps as a tactical data repairman, before making his way up through various companies and senior positions. He will oversee all sales and upgrades relating to avionics.

Jet East has hired Dwayne Chandler as the senior director of avionics sales and business development, where he will oversee all sales associated with avionics and avionics upgrades. As an experienced leader and aviation professional, he will partner with regional sales directors to offer the customers various options relating to products and upgrades.

Chandler began his career in the United States Marine Corps as a tactical data repairman. Using the knowledge he gained while serving in the armed forces, he transitioned to the civilian workforce as an electronics instructor. In this role he provided training to technicians on electronic fundamentals and how to apply these principles to diagnose and repair electrical systems. In 1999 Chandler shifted his focus to work as an avionics technician in corporate aviation working for Timco and then Landmark Aviation.

While at Landmark he was promoted to avionics sales manager where he grew company sales through increasing the knowledge of avionics products throughout the organisation. In 2016 he joined Constant Aviation where he served as the avionics sales manager. Prior to joining Jet East, Chandler most recently served as the director of avionics sales at Stevens Aerospace.

Stephen Maiden, president and CEO of Jet East says, “Dwayne is among the best and the brightest in the field of avionics. His background, ability to connect with people and deep understanding of avionics systems make him a true asset to our team. I am thrilled to have him working with our organisation to advance the service we provide our customers.”
