Rosen releases OLED displays available for preorder
Rosen's partnerships allow access to OLED basic modules, allowing the aviation supplier to design aircraft grade components specifically for business, VIP and commercial cabins.

Rosen Aviation has introduced a complete line of organic light-emitting diode (OLED) displays are now available for pre-order. This announcement comes almost exactly 12 months after a formalised partnership with Japan-OLED was signed.

The new product line features ultra thin and light displays ranging from 22” to 55”. Its partnerships allow access to OLED basic modules, allowing the aviation supplier to design aircraft grade components specifically designed for business, VIP and commercial cabins. All displays feature 4K UHD resolution, high dynamic range and wide colour gamut with almost infinite contrast ratios.

Rosen says it is currently developing new applications that leverage OLED technology that have never been implemented in aviation environments and plans to announce further developments early in 2022. The new product line also features 4K UHD LCD displays ranging from 24” to 43”.

Lee Clark, senior vice president strategy at Rosen Aviation states: "The entire team at Rosen was certainly excited to announce our partnership with JOLED late last year, but seeing the end result 12 months later is somewhat surreal. These OLED displays are so thin and lightweight, and deliver a truly evolutionary picture quality that must be seen to be believed. Our design, engineering, product development and test groups have worked incredibly hard to create a world-class viewing experience.”
