St Barth says PC-12s are the ideal medevac tool
CaribMedevac is the only Caribbean company equipped to fly contagious/COVID-19 patients. It has specific equipment and procedures to fulfil the need in a crisis. The new business arm was launched by St Barth.
St Barth Executive doesn't have a bad word to say about the PC-12.

St Barth Executive is continuing to expand despite the difficulties of COVID-19. The company now flies three PC-12 NGs, having recently added a 2018-built aircraft, and the fleet is expected to total four by Q1 2022 after the arrival of a factory-new Pilatus PC-12 NGX.

“We are extremely keen on our PC-12s,” says director of sales and marketing Lucile Reimonenq. “This model is a perfect fit for the Caribbean market. The high versatility of the PC-12 NG is enabling operations on the shortest and most challenging runways of the Caribbean, paved or unpaved. It is secure, performs very well, and is comfortable. The type is one of the main reasons we have been able to substantially diversify our services on the medical evacuation market under the brand CaribMedevac.

“In addition to the excellent technical attributes above quoted, our favourite aircraft also offers a large cargo door and all the necessary outlets required to operate heavy medical transportation. We have put in place a medical escort team, designed fast response procedures to ensure emergency take offs within 90 minutes to two hours, and dedicated an aircraft 100 per cent to this activity, backed up with another when required.”

CaribMedevac is the only Caribbean company equipped to fly contagious/COVID-19 patients. It has specific equipments and procedures to fulfil the need in a crisis.

“We are currently operating a minimum of one medevac flight per day, counting 470 patients commuted to a skilled hospital for the first eight months of 2021,” adds Reimonenq. “This activity is at the heart of our concerns. It is critical and urgent to provide timely medical evacuation for the people of the Caribbean. We are continuously striving to establish new intuitional partnerships and have already signed with several hospitals and private insurances, with the support and contribution of some governments.”
