London Biggin Hill airport's Mansi testing suite, the onsite COVID-19 testing centre, is further improving its offering to customers as it is now approved to issue Fit for Travel test certificates.

The certificate confirms a negative RT-PCR swab test or an RT-PCR spit test for COVID-19 and is required for entry into many countries, as well as for travellers returning to England. The Mansi testing suite is also approved to issue home tests for day two and day eight for international arrivals from countries that are not on the red list.

Head of marketing Andy Patsalides says: “With the approval to issue Fit for Travel certificates the Mansi testing suite is expanding its essential service to customers and has the advantage of also being able to offer same day PCR testing. Since opening in December 2020, it has proved an efficient and invaluable resource to those travelling to and through the airport whilst ensuring compliance with government COVID-19 travel regulations.”

All tests, including same-day PCR tests, must be pre-booked online at the Biggin Hill airport website. The Mansi testing suite is open daily, including weekends, from 08:00 to 18:00.
