TBM delivery marks milestone for ferry pilot Waltz
Over the course of 44 years Margrit Waltz has become one of the world's most experienced ferry pilots. A TBM940 headed for Indiana will be her 900th GA type hand-over.
Back in time: Margrit Waltz's first TBM 700 ferry flight with TBM test pilot Christian Briand in 1991.

Margrit Waltz, one of the world's most experienced ferry pilots, will pass a significant milestone with a Daher TBM 940 very fast turboprop aircraft for delivery to Muncie Aviation, an authorised TBM aircraft sales dealer based in the U.S. state of Indiana.

This will be her 900th ferry flight of general aviation aircraft, her activity having begun in 1976 for several distributors and aircraft manufacturers.

Waltz was one of the first pilots to ferry a TBM-family aircraft across the Atlantic Ocean on behalf of Daher. Since 1991, she has delivered more than 200 TBMs to the North American market.
