Tanis joins the Cutter team in Texas
Bruce Tanis has experience on Piper, King Air, Beechcraft, Honda, Hawker, TBM, Quest and Cessna aircraft. Having grown up around aviation, he has now been brought in to manage services at Cutter San Antonio.
Bruce Tanis got his start working at Anoka County Blaine airport.

Cutter Aviation has appointed Bruce Tanis as manager of aircraft services at its San Antonio, Texas location. Tanis is responsible for managing all aspects of the maintenance operation including cost-effective utilisation of department resources to meet or exceed service, avionics and aircraft upgrade requirements requested from Cutter Aviation's maintenance customers.

Bruce was raised around aviation and is the son of Peter Tanis, the inventor of the Tanis Engine Preheater. Growing up, his family owned several FBOs and maintenance facilities where as soon as he was able to see over the engine cowling, he was helping in the shop.

While attending school, Tanis worked as a line technician at Anoka County Blaine airport. After receiving his A&P licence and becoming an IA, he went on to work for several prestigious aviation companies, which provided him with experience in a wide array of airframes including Piper, King Air, Beechcraft, Honda, Hawker, TBM, Quest and Cessna aircraft as well as commercial airliners.

Tanis has a Private Pilot Licence with SEL and MEL ratings.
