First Wing Jet Center has again received the AMT Diamond Award of Excellence from the FAA for participating in the Aviation Maintenance Technician Awards programme in 2020. This is the fifth year First Wing Jet Center has received the award under ownership by Eagle Creek Aviation.

The FAA AMT Awards programme is designed to encourage individual AMTs as well as employers to invest in continuing education. The Diamond Award is reserved for companies that achieve 100 per cent participation from eligible employees. In 2020, all AMTs employed by First Wing Jet Center spent more than 1,500 hours in training online, in the classroom and on-the-job.

“As a company, we are committed to excellence in everything we do, including ensuring that we continue to invest in our technicians through training and education. We believe our customers are best served by professionals who are continually learning and utilising industry best practices,” says company president Scott Dillon. “We are honoured to be recognised for the past five years by the FAA for that commitment and look forward to continuing our path in achieving excellence.”

First Wing serves the private and general aviation needs of central Indiana from Indianapolis Executive airport in Zionsville. In addition to Indianapolis Executive, it serves as the primary FBO for the Frankfort/Clinton County Municipal airport in Frankfort, Indiana.

First Wing is part of the Eagle Creek family of companies. For nearly four decades, Eagle Creek has provided premier aviation services, including aircraft maintenance, sales and FBO operations. Eagle Creek also operates a Part 135 charter and management company, First Wing Charter and Management.
