Tecnam is partnering with Air Alliance to market its twin engine Tecnam P2012 series in Germany and Austria. Air Alliance, in business since 1993, is a large German group offering different aviation services including aircraft sales, charters, maintenance and flight training. The P2012 will be the first turbocharged twin piston aircraft in the Air Alliance portfolio and it will join the fleet of jets and turboprops of other prominent brands on the market.

Comfortably accommodating nine passengers with one or two crew members, the P2012 Traveller is a new-generation, piston-powered, twin-engine, high-wing, fixed-landing-gear aircraft. The P2012 provides a cost-effective solution with various configuration options, while offering a travel experience that exceeds its category standards with features like air conditioning, in-seat power, wide leg room, a separated in fuselage cargo bay and under seat storage space.

Avionics by Garmin offer pilots all the information they require for day and night operations in VFR, IFR and PBN; the ‘Space’ cockpit has been specifically designed to reduce pilot workload for a safer and smarter mission accomplishment. For all these features the aircraft can be operated by a single pilot and in all-weather conditions including flight Into known icing.

The P2012 series also offers special mission, full cargo, combi and air ambulance configurations.

A first P2012 Traveller in airline configuration will be heading to Germany in the upcoming weeks as a demonstrator.

“The P2012's innovative design is ideal for regional airlines and smart operators,” says Giovanni Pascale Langer, Tecnam MD. “Aligning with Air Alliance, with its great experience in this market, it is a natural fit to provide German and Austrian customers with the support they need.”

“We are excited to begin this new partnership with Tecnam,“ adds René Petersen, Air Alliance CEO. “We think the P2012 is the most modern piston engine of its category, and it is the perfect fit to expand and complete our multi-brand offer.”
