Crystal still having a ball despite the need to pivot
Crystal Luxury Air's flights are, like most operators, dictated by charter guests and their needs. But needs have changed in the last 12 months, and the company has had to adjust its model with this in mind.
Richard Ziskind has his fingers crossed that borders will reopen soon.

US operator Crystal Luxury Air is accustomed to flying eight to 17-hour legs using its VIP B77-200LR and a Global Express XRS. Of late however, it has been adjusting to operations in the three to six-hour range. Its B777-200LR is used for larger groups of up to 88 guests, while the Global Express is used for small groups of six to 13 guests.

“In response to the pandemic we have expanded our operation to also fly mission specific medical flights with doctors, hospital equipment and/or medical supplies,” states VP and MD Richard Ziskind. “We have designed our aircraft products at Crystal Luxury Air to be flexible, giving us the ability to adapt to meet the unique needs of our guests during these unprecedented times. We continue to be optimistic that as the vaccine is distributed and countries continue to open borders our demand for passenger charters will increase.

“We have two fantastic aircraft, and we have the most incredible crew in the skies who are eager and ready to deliver an unforgettable flight experience for our guests.”
