Recently-promoted Randy Morelock designed and collaborated on projects such as the Grand Renaissance programme for Twin Commander aircraft and spearheaded the development of STC for the Garmin G950.
Randy Morelock is an expert when it comes to the Twin Commander.

The Eagle Creek family of companies has promoted Randy Morelock to VP of maintenance. Morelock joined Eagle Creek in 1998 and previously held the positions of director of avionics, project manager and avionics technician. He served as an avionics technician for the Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 169 of the US Marine Corps before he joined the company. Throughout his tenure at Eagle Creek Aviation, Morelock has been committed to innovation in aviation, earning awards and top ratings for the Indianapolis service centre's performance.

He designed and collaborated on projects such as the Grand Renaissance programme for Twin Commander aircraft. The Grand Renaissance overhaul process involves disassembly of the aircraft to its aluminum shell, followed by a comprehensive refurbishing of all systems and virtually all components using new or overhauled components.

Morelock also spearheaded the development of STC for the Garmin G950 glass flight deck installation in Twin Commander aircraft. The G950 offers an integrated glass flight deck, offering new levels of situational awareness, simplicity and safety to the cockpit. His recent noteworthy projects include Garmin G950 flight deck integrations and tactical radio package installations on Twin Commander aircraft for Conair's aerial firefighting fleet, along with numerous Grand Renaissance overhauls for the Colombian Army.

Eagle Creek Aviation is locally owned and operates out of Eagle Creek airport on the west side of Indianapolis. The firm owns a family of companies, including First Wing Charter and Management, First Wing Jet Center, with operations at Indianapolis Executive airport and Frankfort Clinton County Municipal airport, and a flight school.
