Russian operators sign up for Mi-8MTV-1 fleets
The multipurpose Mi-8MTV-1 helicopters offer strong performance. Russia's State Transport Leasing Company, ZAO Aviapredpriyatie Yeltsovka, Vektor Aviation Industrial Company and Heli-Drive have all placed orders.
Medical modules can be easily fitted to the helicopter.

Russia's State Transport Leasing Company (GTLK) has been supplied with five Mi-8MTV-1 helicopters manufactured by the Kazan Helicopter Plant operated by Russian Helicopters. The aircraft were transferred to three operators within the framework of the programme for the development of leasing of domestic helicopters with state co-financing.

The multipurpose Mi-8MTV-1 supplied under the contract with the State Transport Leasing Company can perform various types of task. In the cabin there is the option to install medical modules, modifications have been made to equip the helicopters with additional fuel tanks and enable them to operate with an external sling for the transportation of bulky cargo weighing up to four tonnes.

Three Mi-8MTV-1 helicopters will replenish the aircraft fleet of ZAO Aviapredpriyatie Yeltsovka and will be able to perform missions as intended in such regions as Krasnoyarsk territory, the Tomsk and Novosibirsk regions, Yamalo-Nenets and Khanty-Mansi autonomous okrugs, Komi Republic and Kamchatka. The airline currently has about 30 Mi-8 helicopters at its disposal, most of which were supplied by the Kazan Helicopter Plant.

Additionally, an Mi-8MTV-1 helicopter will be delivered to the Vektor Aviation Industrial Company. The company carries out all types of aviation work around the world, including the most disadvantaged and remote areas, using its own and leased aircraft, including the Mi-8MTV-1. Another Mi-8MTV-1 helicopter will also be handed over to the Heli-Drive North-West company, which, among other things, performs work in the interests of Russia's National Air Ambulance Service (NSSA).

The multipurpose Mi-8MTV-1 helicopters have high flight performance and can be used around the clock in the most difficult climatic conditions. They are capable of carrying on board a wide range of specialised equipment, including medical modules, which ensures the fulfilment of tasks depending on current needs.
