Avmats adds Gulfstream APU assets
In addition to the Sundstrand T-62T-40 series APU services and support offered by Avmats Engine Support, the company will now support the T-20G series APUs and LRUs, thanks to a new location in Wisconsin.

Avmats Engine Support has purchased the assets of the Gulfstream Aerospace APU facility located in Appleton, Wisconsin. Since 1993, Avmats has been performing MRO services to Sundstrand and Honeywell APUs, including the APU components, in support of the business aviation community.

Justin Giessman, president of Avmats, states: “This acquisition adds capacity and capability to the already robust support that we offer to our customers.” The APU shop has expanded by approximately 10,000 sq ft and added an additional test cell at Avmats' engine support facility located in O'Fallon, Missouri.

In addition to the Sundstrand T-62T-40 series APU services and support offered by Avmats Engine Support, the company will now support the T-20G series APUs and LRUs. Further, it has added the capabilities to service the electronic sequence units and will be providing repair and exchange options for its customers.
