Abilene and Lubbock are up to scratch for IS-BAH
Lubbock Aero has been a provider of FBO services at Lubbock Preston Smith since 1990 and is owned by Abilene Aero, an FBO at Abilene Regional airport for 52 years. Their IS-BAH ambitions go right to the top.

Texan FBOs Abilene Aero and Lubbock Aero have attained Stage II certification as defined by IS-BAH. “We began the reinvention of our safety programme in June of 2018,” reveals company president Joe Crawford. “Step one in that process was obtaining Stage I certification, which happened in August 2018. The continuous two-year effort by our employees and the dedication of company resources toward an evolving and refined safety programme resulted in Stage II certification in August of 2020. Safety principles are interwoven into our company DNA, and I look forward to pursing Stage III certification in August of 2022.”

Lubbock has been a provider of FBO services at Lubbock Preston Smith International airport since 1990 and is owned by Abilene Aero, which has been the FBO provider at Abilene Regional airport for 52 years. Abilene and Lubbock are full-service aircraft MRO facilities and are factory service centres for Textron and Cirrus.
